Profile

I work at the intersection of business, digital transformation, and social behaviour, with a strong focus on how technology, communication, and decision-making shape organisations and markets.

I completed professional training in banking with Deutsche Bank AG and hold degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration from the Hessische Verwaltungs- und Wirtschafts-Akademie, as well as a BBA in Business Economics from Avans+, Breda (NL). I earned a Master’s degree in Leadership in Digital Communication from Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin) in cooperation with the University of St. Gallen (HSG), and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham (UK). I am a Fellow of the EuroMed Academy of Business.

My research interests include eBusiness, consumer behaviour, the digital economy, decision-making, finance (including behavioural finance, international stock markets, and company valuation), forecasting, marketing (particularly online, product, and service marketing), social media, sustainability, and teamwork.

Beyond my professional work, I have a strong interest in travelling and sailing. I have experience with undertaking extended voyages aboard a Najad 34 sailing yacht, combining offshore sailing with long-term travel.
